2023 Region 9 Horse Person of the Year- Nettie Olsen

Congratulations to our newest Region 9 Horse Person of the Year, Nettie Olsen. Nettie, who recently retired, faithfully served as the Region 9 Treasurer for over ten years. She created many wonderful financial report slides, showing comparisons and budgets, and creating forms for expenditures in a clear and precise manner. She also included slides for the Region 9 T-shirt contest designs!
Over the years, Nettie has also been a member of the Region 9 Finance Working Group and other working groups.
Thanks to Nettie’s skills, Region 9 Zoom meeting were possible as she coordinated them and served as moderator.
She worked for several years on the Region 9 Omnibus Committee, attended many USDF Conventions, and volunteered at shows. As a active member of the Fort Worth Dressage Club, she volunteered wherever and whenever was needed: always willing to help out – with a smile.
