United States Dressage Federation Region 9 Summer Networking/Meeting Weekend- San Antonio, TX. July 16- 19, 2026 

The Alamo Dressage Association in San Antonio is thrilled to host the Region 9 summer meeting weekend in our beautiful city! Experience the vibrant culture of San Antonio, captivating history, endless charm, and unique flavors, where unforgettable experiences await around every bend. 

You will be staying at the Hotel Contessa and Spa. Hotel Contessa proudly stands as a welcoming beacon of San Antonio’s rich culture, creativity, and warm sense of community. No shuttle is provided to and from the airport. However, our airport is very close (10 mins) to the hotel and an Uber or Lyft is recommended. You will be staying on the Riverwalk, where everything is within walking distance. 

Join us for adventure and tours! The Alamo Dressage Association will proudly host tours through our city and guide you to destinations. There is so much to see and do here! 

San Antonio offers easy public transportation. We recommend the River taxis, which will pick you up and drop you off right at the hotel, or the Old Town Trolly Tours which has many stops at attractions in the downtown area.

Thursday Itinerary

• Tours to various historical locations and museums, guided by members of the Alamo Dressage Association. 

Friday Itinerary 

• Start the day with guided tours around San Antonio attractions. 
• 4pm-6pm: Social get-together and cocktails with live music at the Ambler Bar at Hotel Contessa. Meet everyone before the big meeting! 
• 6pm-8pm: River Dinner Cruise *details and pricing will be available soon 

Saturday Itinerary 

• 8am-5pm: USDF Region 9 Meeting at Hotel Contessa in the Anaqua room 
• 6pm: Dinner at restaurant (TBD) 

Sunday Itinerary 

• Tours led to Briscoe Western Art Museum, the Alamo, La Villita Historical Art District, and so much more!
