She has been the FWDC show manager of our recognized show for about that long. She writes for grants to fund our adult camps, and assist with show expenses, and has also been in charge of the volunteers for our recognized show. Barb chairs each GMO meeting with the leadership we know so well. She has a full time (plus!) career as a Nurse Practitioner for the North Texas Health Science Center where her specialty is geriatrics with specialization in Alzheimers and dementia. Her position requires working with medical interns, keeping a patient load of 150 or more patients in all stages of dementia and a regular schedule of public speaking engagements to share information about how this terrible disease efforts the patients and their caregivers. I don't know how she manages to do it all but she keeps us all in line.
