Help for Oklahoma Tornado Victims
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those affected by the recent series of violent tornadoes in Oklahoma. Recovery will be a long process. If you know of any ODS member who has suffered a loss or damage during the recent round of tornadoes, would you please let us know. We hope to be able to coordinate some financial support or volunteer help through the ODS website. Please contact ODS President Sherry Guess at guessdrsg@aol.com Additional resources or ways to help can be found here.

Oklahoma Dressage Society is also receiving donations for victims of the recent tornadoes in their state. Funds will be dispersed to veterinarian facilities caring for injured animals. Medical
facilities are bearing the expense not only of caring for the injured, but also with the expense of disposing of the bodies of those who didn't survive, as well as the cost of drugs used to put animals down.

Checks for tornado relief, made out to ODS, may be sent directly to ODS Treasurer Marta Koenig, 1033 E. 34th St., Tulsa, OK 74105. More information about this effort may be found at the ODS website

Bee Pape Scholarship Fund
In honor of Bee Pape - who was a foundation stone for dressage in Region 9. A wonderful, kind, and generous lady, always there to help She gave countless hours to all of us, and to this sport we love. Bee's children – Susan Peacock, Sarah Pape Hester and William Pape and their families – asked that memorial donations to be made to the "Bee Pape Scholarship Fund" for use in Region 9. Bee was a great supporter of grass roots dressage, and Susan asked that a fund be set up to help our grass root members. Specifics of the fund, will be released later. We are thrilled about this opportunity for our regional members. And truly appreciate the generosity of Susan, and her family. And of your donations, to a much needed scholarship.
